My first visit to a Photo Exhibition and the feel of it was just as amazing as it can get. I walked into the hall with lots of speculations in mind and skeptical about the outcome. But in there, I was deeply immersed into an entirely new world. A world full of colours, expressions, emotions, feelings and the list goes on.
Being a photo freak since adolescence, I had my own deceptions for each of them. As I brush them across I see a bull stuck in the midst of fire not knowing where to go, being surrounded by people. The picture clearly showed the panic faced by the animal as fire blaze raised to heights. Next is a picture of 9 Buddhist monks in queue, each holding a bowl. I realized, no matter to what heights or low you go to your hunger will never leave you. Then was a picture of a monkey which left the tap open for a passer by. This showed that harmony can still be found if shown. Moving on was a picture of a dance group and I noticed a young lady who posed so effortlessly which depicted her love for the dance. The picture of a caged tiger was a sad plight where the nature of the animal was being caged. The picture of a Lab and the lady showed that a dog is still a mans best friend. Our ministers, high up on the desks being half naked literally was the plight of the state, "Naked Truth". The struggle of Devegowda trying to fit himself into his kurta was a mere reality of his struggle to get into the ruling seat :) . Rajiv and Bangarappa, the two departed souls in one frame- India then and India now, just the same. Namma metro view from Barton Center -- fully coloured.
Many many more to remember.
Pictures indeed speak a thousand words but they are merely the words of the viewer.
Stills are Stills!!
