For a year of growth, tears, joy upon joy, fear, stretching and staying still -- for constant sturdy family -- for old friends, brothers and sisters now scattered and adventuring, who draw lines of love and connection across cities countries continents -- for new friends, adding laughter to these strange new days of office work, apartments, 9 to 5s -- for the sparkling skyline of the sweet queen Bangalore city and the people who have taken me in, house and heart -- for this country and its trials and triumphs, for all countries and those who love them -- for holding breath and taking courage and saying what needs to be said -- for my books, for my health, for my mentors, for my college,  for my voice, for one step and the next and then -- ?
