I'm sure I was struggling 

Because I made a mistake of believing.

I wish it had gone differently

Because trust doesn't come that easily.

We think we know everything

But each goes through their own thing

And while this makes them think

It's just them going through the whole thing.

I have since come to learn

You can't change the past, you, just can't run

It's always been rough around the edges

While I'm in peace in my own heart and senses.

I tried to be a good friend

Without the bitchy bone in the end

Trusting with something so personal

I should have known this, my friend!!
