I stretch back, sipping my coffee
Letting the sun, to kiss my cheek
This is how, I want to begin
This is how, I want it to be
I relax, gazing out of the window
Letting, the breeze through my pillow
My morning, is where the old becomes new
The morning, is here as the sky turns blue
A tiny bird, walks in restless
Chirping his way, to my mattress
I wish to, situp and reach my leg
Feeling lazy, to leave my bed
I see the raindrops, dancing on the leaves
Watercress, twirling down the creek
I can't blame them, for having fun
As they leave me behind, in the run
In the light, of early morning
Inbetween, my awake and dreaming
These little sips, to last feeling
Killing, on my morning craving.
